Horizon's Garden Competition is back!

All tenants who keep their garden tidy throughout the year will be eligible, and you don’t need to be an expert gardener to win an award. Recognition will also be given to tenants who regularly complete simple gardening tasks such as making sure the grass is cut and keeping paths clear of weeds.

Staff will be carrying out monthly garden and estate inspections. If you are struggling to maintain your garden or need ideas on small changes our staff can offer advice and we can even apply for funding any equipment required for people  to enhance the area or their garden. 

Would you like your estate to look brighter? Why not nominate your estate for an improvement project everyone can enjoy? It could be a seating area, communal vegetable garden, new plants –whatever you like! Please contact your Housing Officer with your ideas.
