How to apply for a home
Our social rented properties are affordable to people on low incomes.
When a property becomes available, we either advertise the property through Homehunt or ask the local authority to nominate applicants.
Homehunt is a choice based letting scheme, administered on our behalf by Link Housing Association, which allows users to filter homes by area, or their specific needs.
When a property becomes available we advertise it on the Homehunt website, where users can then bid on it.
We then assess each applicant according to our priority criteria. The person with the greatest housing need will then be offered the property in line with our allocations policy.
You have to register with Homehunt before you can place a bid for a property. The easiest way to do this is through an online application form, but if you would prefer a paper application, or have any queries about how the system works, you can contact the Homehunt team on 03451 400 100.

Properties in Fife

Nominations from the local authority
We ask local councils to nominate applicants for up to 50 per cent of our vacancies. We would encourage you to apply to your local council for housing and let them know that you would like to be nominated. You will find details on how to do this on individual council websites. Generally councils give us a number of nominees for each vacancy and we will allocate the property to the person with the most priority in line with our allocations policy.
